French Silk Flowermaking and Straw Braid Hat:

 

Create beautiful silk millinery flowers in the traditional method—one petal at a time.  These flowers are NOT ribbon flowers, but sensational, natural looking flowers made in the French method using a set of flowermaking tools. You will then create a hat using lengths of lovely straw braid.  Styles can include pillboxes, toques, boaters, cloches, or a style of your own design.  This class is a great way to team two millinery skills to make a fabulous statement hat.
